Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead excavation and earthwork projects in Maple Grove, MN. You will own project execution, financial performance, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client relationships.

Qualifications include 5+ years in construction PM with excavation/earthwork exposure and a Bachelor’s degree in CM or Civil Engineering (or equivalent). On-site travel to active sites is expected. Employees enjoy competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably excavation/earthwork/site development.
• Experience managing excavation and earthwork projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Strong understanding of excavation operations, earthmoving, grading, soil conditions and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee excavation and earthwork projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, change orders and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and scopes of work; lead on-site coordination with field staff and subcontractors.
