Job summary

RSI is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale horizontal infrastructure, environmental, and groundwater projects in the United States. The role requires PMI/PMBOK knowledge, decomposed schedules, budgets, earned value management, and strong leadership of cross-functional teams in office and field settings.

The position is based in Grand Junction, CO, with a travel requirement of approximately 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• 12 or more years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and lead larger scale horizontal infrastructure, environmental, and groundwater projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, UMTRCA) and DOE FAR/DEAR clauses.
• Establish cross-functional teams, manage client relations, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead initiation, planning, execution, and close-out of projects with disciplined management practices.
• Develop proposals, decomposed schedules, budgets, and perform earned value management.
• Implement risk management and maintain risk registers with mitigation strategies.
• Perform occasional field visits to verify progress and alignment with schedule and EVMS.
• Foster lessons learned and issue reporting for continuous improvement.
• Prepare subcontracting documents across various contracting types.
• Review, peer-review, and mentor junior project managers.
