Job summary

Terracon in the United States is seeking an experienced project engineer to manage facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects. You will oversee scope, schedule, budgets, and vendor coordination while maintaining safety and quality for client deliverables.

You will lead meetings, monitor progress, and report status to the project team and client. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential to ensure on-time completion and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science or geology, or 6 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Minimum 2 years’ related experience if degree not held.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of facilities, environmental, or geotechnical projects to safe, on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Lead meetings, report status to team and client, and coordinate with APR where needed.
• Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet milestones.
• Communicate with clients and deliver work products to client satisfaction.
• Coordinate outside contractors and manage invoices, change orders, and collections.
• Develop risk awareness and uphold company safety policies on all project phases.
