Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support the Next Best Action (NBA) expansion across use cases, channels, data sources, and platforms. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and technology teams to maintain timelines, dependencies, and delivery progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience developing and maintaining project plans, milestones, schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Experience coordinating across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Testing or similar delivery orgs.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum software development environments.
• Strong organizational skills; managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Proven ability to prepare status reporting and communicate progress to leadership.
• Ability to identify, track, and communicate risks, issues and schedule impacts.
• Strong facilitation and coordination skills across matrixed teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; independent in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans for NBA expansion initiatives.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and launch dates across NBA streams.
• Coordinate activities across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Testing and business teams.
• Maintain visibility into implementation progress and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Consolidate delivery information into a cohesive view of project health and readiness.
• Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to Product Managers or leadership.
• Maintain project artifacts: plans, risk logs, dependency and issue logs, decisions, actions.
• Facilitate project meetings and follow-ups to support cross-functional coordination.
• Support launch readiness by addressing dependencies and risks.
• Prepare recurring status updates on progress, milestones, and key risks.
• Partner with PMs and Scrum Masters to align on plans and commitments.
• Support governance forums with status materials and follow-up actions.
• Assist future NBA expansion planning as new use cases emerge.
• Help improve tracking and coordination practices as NBA grows.
