AFRY USA is seeking a Project Manager II to lead complex, cross-functional projects with strong leadership and financial acumen. This role requires managing scope, schedule, and budgets while coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines and client teams.

You will prepare plans, monitor performance, and support proposals and presentations, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. A disciplined, proactive approach and travel as needed are essential.

Qualifications

Must possess in-depth knowledge of project management principles.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or architectural discipline or equivalent.
Prefer 5 years of engineering experience with 2–7 years managing projects.
Familiarity with project accounting, estimating, and scheduling procedures and systems.
Professional registration as an engineer or architect is preferred, PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop written project plans to establish the project charter, scope, cost, and schedule parameters.
Manage projects per AFRY US LLC procedures and contracts with the client.
Ensure compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
Serve as client liaison, initiating meetings and representing the company.
Supervise project team members, including engineers and support staff.
Monitor project status and inform stakeholders of developments affecting scope, schedule, or budget.
Participate in contract change negotiations and document key decisions.
Assist in proposals, marketing materials, and technical presentations.
