Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking a Project Manager II to provide project management systems and technical direction for small to mid-size electric substation, transmission, distribution and communications projects. You will be the single point of accountability for planning, execution and closeout, including scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality.

Under minimal supervision you will manage client relationships, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure profitable project performance while navigating

Qualifications

• Experience applying PMBOK standards to utilities projects.
• Ability to prepare clear technical documents and invoices.
• Strong written and verbal communication across client and team.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and closeout per PMBOK.
• Manage client relationships and project stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and manage change orders; administer subcontracts.
• Implement risk, schedule, and cost controls; ensure EH&S and quality programs.
• Develop estimates and proposals; lead project meetings and reporting.
• Maintain project financials and invoicing with proper backups.
