Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the utility industry.
• Detailed knowledge of project management fundamentals.
• Proficient with MS Project and/or Primavera scheduling software.
• Strong written communication; able to compose technical documents and invoices.
• Strong oral communication; capable of presenting to large, diverse groups.
• High energy, fast-paced, able to navigate ambiguity with action.
• Experience managing client relationships and project stakeholders.
• Commitment to achieving goals and plans.
• Understanding of contract pricing mechanisms and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project in accordance with Pike Engineering Policies and Procedures.
• Oversee the client and project stakeholders and maintain trusted relationships.
• Handle contract negotiations, change orders, submittals and approvals.
• Implement effective change control and risk management processes.
• Support EH&S and Quality programs appropriate for the project.
• Develop thorough estimates and proposals.
• Lead project meetings (kickoff, alignment, status, progress).
• Provide performance feedback to management and project team members.
• Report project status to team, management and client.
• Ensure accurate financials and timely invoicing; manage cash flow.
• Apply strong financial controls to ensure profitability.
