Job summary

CALSTART is seeking a Project Manager to join the Zero Emission School Bus and Infrastructure (ZESBI) initiative. You will support the administration of the $500 million program, collaborating with the School Bus Programs Initiative, CEC, and CARB to drive efficient incentives.

You will coordinate data collection, incentive processing, and portal administration, while interfacing with internal Salesforce and Incentive Processing teams to ensure timely delivery and compliant execution.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of school bus and infrastructure industry.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information for stakeholders.
• Experience with grant applications and Salesforce.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Electric School Bus and ZESBI initiative administration.
• Serve as liaison for incentive processing team.
• Manage data collection and lists of approved products and vendors.
• Provide customer service to incentive applicants and explain requirements.
• Coordinate cross-team workflows for a seamless joint application process.
• Engage with state agencies and stakeholders.
• Monitor applications, reimbursements, and documentation.
• Develop SOPs and internal controls for deliverables.
• Assist with client contracts and schedules.
