Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Transportation Electrification (TE) initiatives in the Clean Energy Project Management group. You will drive design-construction projects for EV customers, coordinating with multiple departments and external partners to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.

The role emphasizes strong analytics, mentorship, and cross-functional leadership, with hybrid work and up to 30% travel across the SCE territory.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in project management.
• Bachelor's degree in business/engineering/PM or related field; PMP preferred.
• Experience delivering scope, schedule, and budget with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong business analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adaptive collaboration.
• Strong time-management to handle many projects concurrently.
• Ethics, influence, negotiation, leadership and continuous learning.
• Experience mentoring teams and providing training as needed.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and DM/Click/SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact projects using PM principles and tools under time constraints.
• Direct initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of projects.
• Guide subordinate PMs and coordinate across departments.
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Manage electric transmission/distribution projects and regulatory filings.
• Track milestones, schedules, and safety/compliance documentation.
• Oversee standards and architecture for reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate technology integration including SCADA and digital substations.
• Protect assets and handle sensitive information with integrity.
