Job summary

MBP is seeking a Project Manager in Charleston, SC for full-time work on capital design and construction programs. The role requires at least ten years of experience, with a minimum of three years in higher education, municipal, or K-12 facilities.

You will oversee projects from planning through closeout with values from $25M to $150M. Responsibilities include owner representation, consultant/contractor management, procurement support, and coordination with campus stakeholders and authorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a construction-related field is required.
• Licensed Architect or Engineer desirable but not required.
• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge of SC OSE and OSF.
• Higher education and K-12 construction knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-construction and construction-phase owner representation for medium- to large-scale projects.
• Manage cost, schedule, and quality on behalf of the client/owner.
• Coordinate with campus stakeholders, municipal agencies, school system representatives, and other clients.
