University of South Carolina is seeking a Project Manager I to coordinate and oversee capital projects within the Facilities Department. You will monitor contracts from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance, schedule adherence, and fiscal stewardship across complex building programs.

Candidates should have advanced PM experience in design and construction, with qualifications in CM/Architecture/Engineering.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in CM/Architecture/Engineering with 6–8 years PM experience on major construction projects.
• Professional certification as a construction manager, professional PM, or licensure as Architect/Engineer preferred.
• Experience with Higher Education, Medical or Athletics programming, design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee capital projects for the Department of Facilities of the University of South Carolina.
• Monitor contract development, planning, design, bidding, construction, administration and close out phases.
• Prepare reports, advise stakeholders, and manage timelines and budgets.
