Job summary

West Valley Cleanup Alliance is seeking a Project Management Practitioner to provide technical support and oversight for programs ensuring on-time, on-scope delivery aligned with organizational goals. The role emphasizes planning, coordination, and performance across multifaceted Deactivation & Demolition initiatives at the West Valley Demonstration Project site.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in relevant fields, eight years of experience, and preferably PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or project controls.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with cost management and scheduling software.
• Proficiency in cost/finance analysis, estimating, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) or PMP requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous DOE nuclear cleanup facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment following safety rules and PPE use.
• Track project progress and manage project documentation.
• Forecast costs, track expenses, and investigate cost variances.
• Align invoices with contract requirements and monthly accruals.
• Assist Procurement to support D&D team and field work continuity.
• Identify schedule variances and work with managers on corrective actions.
• Prepare program proposals, business plans, budgets and contractual terms.
• Ensure training and qualifications are up to date, attend workshops, and participate in professional societies.
