Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems on data center and complex commercial builds in Chicago. You will collaborate with design teams, field crews, and specialty contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality installations.

The role requires managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, driving commissioning readiness, and ensuring safety and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP coordination on large-scale commercial projects
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems
• Partner with design teams and trade partners for constructability and efficiency
• Manage MEP budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance
• Lead coordination meetings with engineers, subcontractors, and field leadership
• Resolve technical challenges and ensure alignment between design documents and field installation
• Drive commissioning readiness and system turnover processes
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards
