McMillen, Inc. designs and builds water resources solutions in the United States. We seek a Senior Project Manager/Engineer - Civil with 15-20 years of water resource experience to lead dam safety and hydroelectric projects.

You will coordinate with engineers, geologists, and scientists, perform design calculations, manage scope, schedule and budgets, and mentor junior engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring field inspections and feasibility studies.

Formación

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university required (MS with a civil focus preferred).
• Professional Engineer registration required.
• 10+ years experience in geotechnical analysis/design or dam safety engineering.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate contract documents, plans, and specs.
• Knowledge of FERC guidelines and dam/hydro infrastructure projects.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; English communication.
• Team oriented, self-motivated, and able to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safe work practices and adhere to guidelines in planning and executing work.
• Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and scientists to solve project challenges with design calculations.
• Support dam safety engineering and multidisciplinary dam programs.
• Multi-task across disciplines and locations for hydroelectric projects.
• Communicate professionally with subject-matter experts and project contributors.
• Assist with feasibility studies and site characterization; evaluate geotechnical hazards.
• Assist in criteria selection for planning, design, and construction of dams and related structures.
• Assess subsurface conditions and compare field/lab data for analyses.
• Conduct numerical analysis using DIPS, UNWEDGE, SWEDGE, UDEC, Phase2, RocScience SLIDE.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, field reports, design/evaluation docs, drawings and specs.
• Provide field engineering support during construction; participate in professional development.
• Manage projects including client expectations, scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Lead multi-discipline teams for hydroelectric and dam projects; mentor junior engineers.
