Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager/Engineer - Civil with 15-20 years of water resource experience. The role encompasses planning, designing, and delivering dam and hydro projects across diverse locations, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor engineers, manage client expectations, and lead multi‑discipline teams to successful project delivery while advancing corporate goals and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university required; MS preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
• 10+ years in geotechnical analysis, design, or dam safety engineering.
• Strong ability to read and interpret contract docs and specs.
• Experience with seismic analyses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑discipline hydroelectric and dam projects, managing scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with engineers, geologists and scientists to solve design challenges.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations and construction drawings.
• Provide field engineering support during construction and site visits.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive safe work practices and project quality.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations.
