Job summary

Gensler is seeking a Project Manager for our Atlanta office to lead diverse architecture and interior architecture projects from programming through construction administration. The role emphasizes collaborative design, proactive leadership, and client relationship development in a dynamic team environment.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of PM experience in architecture or interior design, along with strong knowledge of codes, contracts, and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager in architecture/design
• Experience leading diverse project types and mentoring designers/architects
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards
• Commitment to DEI and sustainable design principles
• Licensed/Registered Architect and NCIDQ/LEED accreditation are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and coordinate with Design Directors to set project workplans
• Manage all phases from programming through construction administration
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, and coordinate bidding
• Oversee scheduling, budgets, staffing and client/sub-consultant coordination
• Track project financial performance and nurture client relationships
• Support firm sustainability goals and multi-benefit design solutions
