Job summary

Gensler's Denver office is seeking a Project Manager/Design Manager to lead high‑performance critical facilities projects, including data centers. You will oversee project workflows, allocate resources, and act as the primary liaison between client and project team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture, 15+ years of experience, licensure and LEED are preferred, and proficiency in MS Project and Revit. Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $140,000 per year, plus bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience: mix of architecture and project management.
• Professional license or certification preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Experience with project scope, fees and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Revit proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership to client and team by communicating objectives, scope, terms and schedule.
• Provide design support for organization, production and execution of projects.
• Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, and project setup with clients and contractors.
• Prepare project proposals and negotiate contracts and fees; bid projects to multiple general contractors.
• Track and manage financial performance of projects (work plan, schedule, fees, changes, billings).
• Oversee project lifecycle from kick-off to close-out.
• Mentor junior designers and lead multiple projects collaboratively.
• Promote interdisciplinary design collaboration across the office and firm.
