Job summary

Gensler in Atlanta is seeking an Architect to support the design and delivery of complex Corporate Office Workplace projects. You will blend design excellence, technical rigor, and strategic thinking in a collaborative, client-focused culture that values resilient and sustainable buildings.

You will coordinate with consultants, lead design discussions, and mentor less experienced teammates while ensuring alignment with design intent and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• Registered / Licensed Architect (if you are nearly licensed, contact for suitability)
• 6–10 years of relevant experience on corporate/office base building projects
• Strong proficiency with Revit
• Experience with Bluebeam, SketchUp and Adobe Suite preferred
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards and systems
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate technical details

Responsibilities

• Take on greater independence in coordinating, technical documentation and consultant communication
• Contribute to design leadership, oversee portions of project delivery and mentor teammates
• Lead coordination between project team and consultants
• Develop and manage technical documentation ensuring alignment with design intent
• Support project managers with scheduling, deliverables and milestones
• Resolve technical and design challenges and propose constructible solutions
• Oversee sections of specifications and contribute to project manuals
• Conduct site visits and lead submittal reviews, RFIs and construction documentation
• Mentor emerging designers and provide technical guidance
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors and permitting officials
