Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) to lead testing and special inspection projects. You will coordinate field and lab teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, and other standards.

The role emphasizes business development, client relationships, and delivering high-quality project results across soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and structural steel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
• At least 3 years of direct project management experience in a consulting or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, etc.).
• Proven track record in budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, execution, and delivery of construction materials testing and special inspection projects.
• Coordinate testing and inspection services for soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and structural steel.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
• Manage multiple CMT projects simultaneously from proposal through closeout, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work, monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Review and approve field reports, test results, and final deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
