Job summary

BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team in the Fort Mill area. You will lead the management, execution, and delivery of CMT projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and lab personnel to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

The role emphasizes business development, proposal preparation, and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on safety and quality across soil, concrete, asphalt, and structural steel

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
• At least 3 years of direct project management experience in a consulting or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, etc.).
• Proven track record in managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client management skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems (e.g., Excel, Procore, Metafield).

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, execution, and delivery of construction materials testing and special inspection projects.
• Coordinate testing and inspection services for soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry and structural steel.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules of work, and scopes of work.
• Review and approve field reports, test results, and final deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
