Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering in Buford, GA is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team. You will oversee the successful management, execution, and delivery of CMT projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, field and lab personnel to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

The role emphasizes business development, proposal preparation, and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on ASTM/AASHTO/ACI standards, budget control, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
• At least 3 years direct project management experience in a consulting or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, etc.).
• Proficient with budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, execution, and delivery of construction materials testing and special inspection projects.
• Coordinate testing and inspection services for soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry and structural steel.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work, monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Review and approve field reports, test results, and final deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
