Job summary

BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) to lead projects from proposal through closeout. You will coordinate soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry and steel testing, manage budgets and timelines, and serve as the main client contact with engineers, contractors and regulators.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success. Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years in CMT or geotechnical contexts, plus 3+ years of PM

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
• At least 3 years of direct project management experience in a consulting or construction setting.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC and related standards.
• Proven budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary team management.
• Excellent written and verbal client communication and management skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Procore and similar PM systems.
• Manage multiple CMT projects from proposal to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead management, execution, and delivery of construction materials testing projects.
• Coordinate testing for soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry and structural steel.
• Serve as primary client contact, with contractors and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and scopes of work and monitor performance.
• Review field reports, test results, and final deliverables for quality.
• Mentor project engineers, technicians, and junior staff.
