Job summary

Front Porch Communities & Services in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking a Project Manager to direct planning and management across facilities expansions and new environments from concept through completion.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage schedule and budget, contracts, EH&S, and risk mitigation, delivering high‑quality projects in a fast-paced environment. Requires CPM and a track record of large capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Associate’s degree/two years of college, plus two years related work experience, or 4 years related work experience.
• Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field is preferred.
• Certified Project Manager (CPM).
• 10 years leading large capital projects; 5 years in Senior Living construction.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning, tracking, scope, scheduling, contracts and procurement, EH&S, QA, engineering, and construction across cross‑functional teams.
• Lead design teams, general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders toward project goals.
• Manage construction plans and maintain up‑to‑date status records.
• Monitor performance to ensure schedule integrity and contract compliance.
• Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support selection of designers, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
