Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex corporate office and lab projects from inception to closeout. You will coordinate architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring budgets, schedules, and client expectations are met with high-quality results.

You will manage cross-functional teams, communicate progress weekly, and apply risk management to prevent incidents in sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Preference towards a Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 5-10 years as a Project Manager or similar role.
• Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals.
• Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client’s representatives, etc.).
• Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders.
• Fully competent at managing all types/sizes of projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee multiple projects on corporate office and lab sites.
• Manage projects from identification through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and closeout.
• Demonstrate full accountability for end-to-end management of projects.
• Lead project teams comprising architects, engineers, contractors, and client teams.
• Provide weekly updates on Schedule, Budget, and Risk to the Team Lead or Regional Manager.
• Develop risk management plans and lead teams through work authorization processes to ensure no incidents in critical environments.
• Apply top-tier project management skills during client interactions to decipher needs and define scope of work.
• Oversee and prepare project documentation for all construction phases, including budgets and schedules.
• Manage vendors to ensure compliance and timely project closeout.
