• Understand all phases of building envelope construction; commercial roofing experience preferred.

• Experience with commercial roofing estimating, quantity takeoffs, and project budgeting.
• Working knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, cost tracking, and job cost reporting.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project closeout processes.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, project specifications, and scope management.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management, estimating, scheduling, and ERP software platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from bid award through final closeout.

Responsibilities

• Read plans and specifications in hard copy and digital formats.
• Understand all phases of building envelope construction.
• Work with Operations to determine materials and manpower required for each project.
• Estimate time to completion for each project and coordinate with teams from varying trades.
• Determine materials required for each project and devise delivery schedules.
• Review designs to plan sequence of work and identify issues.
• Understand commercial roof system designs including TPO, PVC, EPDM, and waterproofing systems.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely, with quality, and on production goals.
• Create Schedules of Work and Schedules of Value and track performance.
• Communicate with management regarding all assigned projects.
• Coordinate field personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain communication with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, Consultants, Field Operations, and Corporate personnel.
• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, prepare estimates, solicit pricing, and assist with bids.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, and bid documents to identify gaps and risks.
