Job summary

Jobot in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Project Manager to own multiple commercial MEP projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will be the hub connecting clients, GCs, subs, suppliers, and field crews to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to contract specifications.

You will manage CPM schedules, budgets, forecasts, and change orders while applying strong financial discipline and leadership. The role offers an employee-owned environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing commercial construction projects (mechanical and/or plumbing emphasis).
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.
• Solid grasp of project financials: budgeting, job costing, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience in Procore or similar construction management software.
• Strong ability to read/interpret drawings, specs, and contracts; excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial MEP projects through planning, execution, and close-out while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Build and maintain CPM schedules, budgets, and documentation using Procore, Microsoft Project, and related tools.
• Track job costs, forecasts, billings, and change orders; prepare monthly project reports on financial health and risk.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, and change documentation.
• Coach and direct Superintendents and field teams, resolving technical and logistical challenges promptly.
• Cultivate strong relationships with owners, GCs, design professionals, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
