Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for Commercial HVAC/Plumbing in Roanoke, VA. You will own multiple MEPT projects from pre-construction through close-out, coordinating clients, GCs, subs, suppliers, and field crews to finish safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction with mechanical/plumbing emphasis, strong financial acumen, and experience with Procore or similar tools. On-site at a growing, ESOP-driven firm with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing commercial construction projects (mechanical and/or plumbing emphasis).
• Procore or similar construction management software experience.
• Strong ability to read/interpret drawings, specs, and contracts; excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial MEP projects through planning, execution, and close-out while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Build and maintain CPM schedules, budgets, and documentation using Procore, Microsoft Project, and related tools.
• Track job costs, forecasts, billings, and change orders; prepare monthly project reports on financial health and risk.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, and change documentation.
• Coach and direct Superintendents and field teams, resolving technical and logistical challenges promptly.
• Cultivate strong relationships with owners, GCs, design professionals, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
