Job summary

The Burt Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own projects from kickoff to closeout, managing client relationships and subcontractors on busy commercial GC jobs in Austin. You’ll drive schedules, track budgets, and coordinate with a hands-on team, delivering strong results with ownership and leadership.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of PM experience on $5M+ projects, plus familiarity with occupied healthcare, commercial, or retail renovations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PM experience on commercial GC projects of $5M+.
• Background in healthcare, commercial, or retail renovation with occupied buildings experience a plus.
• Strong communicator who builds lasting relationships with clients, architects, and subs.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of assigned projects: client relationships, subcontractor management, scheduling, billing, change orders, and closeout.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients and work with the superintendent.
• Participate in weekly OAC meetings, conduct daily cost tracking, and employ proactive problem solving.
