Job summary

Atlantic Constructors seeks a Senior Project Manager to provide overall management direction for two or more construction projects, estimating work packages and developing new business opportunities relative to a client base or geographic area.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and 8+ years of PM experience, with strong leadership and communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 8+ years project management experience.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Project for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff key field positions through department heads or trade managers.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Act as liaison with client and architect/engineer contacts to facilitate construction activities.
• Monitor and control construction through on-site supervision to meet schedule and budget.
• Prepare submittal logs and change documentation for projects.
• Maintain relationships and conduct project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure prompt payments and timely disbursement to subcontractors and suppliers.
