Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide overall management direction for two or more projects in the Richmond area. You will estimate work packages, develop opportunities, and coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 8+ years of PM experience, strong leadership, and proficient use of MS Office and project scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum 8 years project management experience.
• Ability to apply innovative management techniques to maximize employee performance.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff key field positions through department heads or trade managers.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy and client direction.
• Act as liaison with prime client and architect/engineer contacts to facilitate construction activities.
• Assist in estimating specific work packages as they arise.
• Monitor and control construction to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Represent company in project meetings; assist in strategy meetings.
• Review project tracking reports to monitor productivity and labor utilization.
• Create and maintain internal project schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of required project close-out documents.
