Job summary

SOCOTEC US is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex code, planning, and permitting projects in New York City. The role focuses on coordinating clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities to ensure schedules, budgets, and deliverables are met with high quality.

You will drive project planning, document control, and reporting while ensuring compliance with DOB, FDNY, and LPC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of PM experience in AEC industries.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
• Experience with municipal permitting and DOB/FDNY/LPC processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project plans, reports, risk logs, and meeting notes.
• Act as primary client contact for milestones, permits, and approvals.
• Deliver services within established timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate activities to meet objectives, milestones, and schedules.
• Prepare status communications and project documentation for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
