Job summary

SOCOTEC US seeks a Senior-Level Environmental Manager to lead the Environmental Department, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role collaborates with Clients, Principals, and Project Managers, supervising remediation, investigations, permitting, storm water management, erosion controls, wetlands, and hazardous wastes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in environmental engineering, PE license preferred, and a proven ability to manage complex projects while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Environmental Engineering/oversight.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental Department and Staff.
• Lead environmental/engineering projects from inception to completion within scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct environmental assessments, investigations, and feasibility studies.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans.
• Coordinate with other departments on project management and staffing.
• Mentor junior professionals and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare and review technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
• Participate in corporate management and environmental business development.
