Pape-Dawson is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects, own client relationships, and mentor the next generation of engineers. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering on time and within budget.

Based in Florida, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, develop scopes and contracts, and help expand the firm’s presence in key markets while upholding our legacy of quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in required states.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Proven track record leading complex projects from concept through completion.
• Experience mentoring staff and leading teams of ~5–7 employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex engineering projects with accountability for quality, schedule, and budget.
• Provide strategic, technical, and managerial leadership through the project lifecycle.
• Develop and negotiate project scopes, budgets, schedules, proposals, and contracts.
• Oversee project financial performance, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
• Review technical deliverables to meet standards, regulations, and client expectations.
• Lead QA/QC, risk management, and issue resolution to move projects forward.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and technical staff.
