Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company seeks a Senior Project Manager (Civil Construction) to lead projects across Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC metro area. You will plan, schedule, supervise and coordinate construction activities, manage contracts and resources, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction management, strong communication and leadership, and proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Understanding of construction procedures and materials.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, supervise and coordinate all aspects of projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Determine needed resources from start to finish with attention to schedule and budget.
• Supervise engineers, interns and team members; provide guidance as needed.
