Job summary

The Grand Teton Lodge Company seeks a Project Manager to lead capital projects across resort properties, ensuring projects are properly scoped, compliant with National Park Service requirements, and delivered on time and within budget.

You will coordinate contractor work, manage budgets, and align with operations, finance, and engineering to meet seasonal needs while protecting park resources and guest operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience designing and implementing construction projects (minimum 3 years).
  • Preferred: managing historic and non-historic projects in a national park.
  • Preferred: managing projects of $1 million or greater.
  • Familiarity with Section 106 compliance and historic preservation requirements.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Familiarity with contractor bid processes and drafting RFPs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of capital projects across Grand Teton Lodge Company properties.
  • Ensure contract terms for construction or facilities improvements are followed (CFIP, renewal, major rehabilitation).
  • Develop and submit NPS compliance requests for historic properties.
  • Deliver projects on schedule and within budget through planning, risk management, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, engineering, and partners to define scope and sequencing.
  • Coordinate construction activities to minimize guest disruption during peak seasons.
  • Manage multi-million dollar capital budgets, forecasting and expense tracking.
  • Build relationships with NPS contacts and local contractors to ensure compliance and success.
