Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Portland is seeking a Senior Project Manager Engineer to lead multi-discipline teams from development through close-out, directing project scope and deliverables.

You will manage large, technically complex projects, maintain client relations, and coordinate budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and staffing while mentoring other project managers.

Preferred: Master's degree, PE license, 10+ years of PM experience, and a commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• MS Office and MS Project experience (Access a plus).
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams across project lifecycle.
• Manage large, technically complex projects with high staff counts.
• Produce and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations; participate in meetings.
• Oversee QA/QC procedures and mentor junior PMs.
• Track budgets and schedules; ensure deliverables meet constraints.
• Coordinate staffing and workload throughout project life cycle.
