Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager in California to lead large, multi-discipline projects from development through close-out. You will guide project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and foster strong client relations across complex engineering initiatives.

The role requires extensive PM experience, excellent communication, and mentoring abilities. HDR offers a comprehensive benefits package and an employee-owned culture across Walnut Creek, Sacramento, and Folsom.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10 years related experience with at least 5 years in PM roles.
Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams through project lifecycle.
Lead large projects or complex medium projects with a sizable staff.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and maintain client relations.
Attend design, production and marketing meetings with stakeholders.
Develop deliverables in work sessions with staff and clients.
Coordinate staffing and workload across the project life cycle.
Monitor budgets and schedules; adjust efforts to meet constraints.
Collaborate with Accounting, Operations and Leadership for reviews.
Implement QA/QC procedures and mentor junior PMs.
Perform other duties as needed.
