Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our culture-driven team. You will plan, execute, and lead projects in building automation, fire alarm, and security systems, coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of engineering or project management experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, or security systems).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills.
• Excellent MS Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; strong problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking concepts.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.
• 7–10 years of relevant engineering, field service or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct projects.
• Coordinate application engineering, field installation and startup of assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are executed within budget and time schedules with positive cash flow.
• Interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety, and quality.
• Manage direct reports for senior project management responsibilities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
