Job summary

Divcon in Dallas, TX seeks a Traveling Project Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget control, and compliance with client and technical requirements while leading cross-functional teams.

Must be willing to travel up to 95% of the time, including weekends and after-hours. Strong knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical systems is required to succeed in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction project management experience.
• Strong understanding of building management systems, HVAC controls, and automation.
• Electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management expertise.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail.
• OSHA 30 certification within the past two years (or training to be completed in first week).
• Proficiency in project management software and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and controls technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
• Maintain accurate project records within DivPro.
• Assign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.
• Review and approve weekly timecards for technicians.
• Approve and manage the BoM for each project.
• Provide monthly project updates including billing and financial reporting.
