Job summary

Kimley-Horn seeks a Senior Project Manager to expand our Building Structures practice in West Florida, ideally from the downtown Tampa office. This role drives client relationships, oversees complex structural design, and leads project teams across disciplines.

You will manage proposals, budgets, and schedules while mentoring staff and growing the practice. A strong track record and P.E. licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in diversified structural engineering.
• P.E. license is required.
• Experience in building structures and forensics.
• Proficient with CAD/ BIM tools and design software.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lead projects profitably and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Support growth of building structures and forensics practices.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Perform and review structural design calculations and submittals.
• Conduct site investigations and document field observations.
• Lead meetings with clients, owners, contractors, and design teams.
• Identify project opportunities through networking; mentor staff and lead teams.
• Autonomously lead and grow the business with accountability; potential ownership rewards.
