Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder to expand our Roadway practice in the new Wesley Chapel office. The role combines complex engineering design with marketing, client engagement, and strategic growth in roadway design for local/ surrounding markets.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of roadway project experience, a Florida P.E. license, and a track record of winning and delivering work while growing a team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing roadway projects.
• Registered Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience winning and delivering work in local markets.
• Knowledge of full lifecycle of roadway projects.
• Experience with local agencies/municipalities.
• Ability to manage projects profitably and lead teams.
• Experience writing proposals, scopes of work and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Expand our practice and presence in the local market focused on roadway, highway and/or municipal projects.
• This position handles complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client engagement, and growth of the roadway design practice locally.
• Manage design and delivery of projects profitably while actively involved in design issues.
• Lead with vision, business planning, strategy, goals, and strong client relationships.
• Grow and mentor staff; transition work to qualified teammates; act as a positive leader.
• Autonomy to lead, direct, and grow the business with limited supervision.
• Potential for a substantial bonus program and ownership track on successful performance.
