Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Plymouth Meeting, PA office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our Structures team. This is not a remote position and the role focuses on leading structural design efforts and producing complete drawings for diverse building projects.

You will manage projects, perform calculations, mentor EITs, and interact with clients and contractors to ensure high-quality results while maintaining schedule and budget.�

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as STAAD, RAM, ETABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management and client meetings.
• Develop full structural drawings and specs.
• Mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering.
• Perform structural design calculations and QC for projects.
• Lead construction phase efforts on building projects.
