Job summary

Burke & Herbert Bank seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cross-functional initiatives. You will partner with business leaders, IT, Operations, and vendors to ensure projects stay on time, within scope and budget, while aligning to strategic priorities.

Essential duties include defining objectives, maintaining plans and risk registers, and providing governance and status reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of eight years of experience leading complex projects in IT, Operations, or a regulated industry.
• PM certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery including scope, planning, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Partner with business, IT, Operations and other stakeholders to define objectives, deliverables and priorities.
• Develop detailed project plans, dependencies, milestones, and risk registers.
