Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Portland, OR seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee internal and external customer projects, coordinate cross-functional deliverables, and drive resolution of conflicts to meet plans and customer expectations while safeguarding fiscal attributes.

You will partner with design, production, materials, QA, and sales, lead milestone reviews, provide regular status updates to executives, and identify process improvements to reduce lag and waste while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in a senior project management role, in an automotive or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively partner with and lead cross-functional teams on projects; manage milestones, gate reviews and design reviews.
• Facilitate regular project meetings to review schedule, status, and issues; apply resources to resolve conflicts and mitigate risks.
• Provide regular status reports to executives highlighting schedule, revenue impacts and program issues; advise on dealing with issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve project and business processes to reduce lag and waste.
• Communicate daily with Design Engineers, Materials Manager, Production Manager, Logistics Analyst, QA and Sales on project issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
