Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in a senior project management role in automotive/manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive project management skills.
• Proven ability to effectively provide leadership to team members to maintain objectives or facilitate countermeasures to realign project deliverables.
• Exposure to cross-functional team approach to product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams on projects, defining milestones and reviews to ensure alignment with customer expectations and project plan.
• Facilitate regular project meetings to review schedule, status, and issues; resolve conflicts and mitigate risks toward milestones.
• Provide senior management with status reports highlighting schedule and revenue impacts and project issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve project and business processes to reduce lag times.
• Communicate with Design Engineers, Materials Manager, Production Manager, Logistics Analyst, Quality Assurance and Sales on project issues.
