Job summary

Williams Controls Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Portland, OR to lead engineering projects and coordinate cross-functional deliverables.

You will drive schedules, milestones, and reviews while ensuring customer expectations are met and fiscal attributes are controlled. The role requires 5–10 years in senior project management in automotive/manufacturing, strong communication, and proven leadership capabilities to guide design and production teams toward on-time, high-quality

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in a senior project management role in automotive or manufacturing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external customer project deliverables and coordinate engineering projects.
• Track cross-functional team deliverables and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management with schedule and revenue impacts.
• Lead project meetings, define milestones, gate reviews, and design reviews.
• Identify process improvements to reduce lag and waste.
