Job summary

The Sterling Choice in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in automation, controls, utilities or water/wastewater to own projects from kickoff to closeout. You’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, field services and customers to ensure delivery, safety and profitability.

You’ll manage scope, schedule, budget, risk and communications, run meetings, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendors and invoicing milestones, and drive resolution

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in utilities, industrial automation or similar.
• Strong leadership and customer communication skills.
• Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, logistics and field services.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and WBS.
• Managing project changes, risks and issues.
• Leading internal and external project meetings.
• Managing customer relationships and expectations.
• Coordinating Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics and Field Services.
• Managing vendors, subcontractors and procurement.
• Tracking project financials, margin, cash flow and delivery KPIs.
• Managing invoicing milestones and project closeout.
• Taking ownership when challenges arise and driving them to resolution.
