Job summary

DBE UTILITY SERVICES is seeking a full-time Sr. Project Manager for Water/Wastewater and Large HDD at the Jacksonville, FL office. Minimum of 5 years of senior project management experience in underground utilities is required.

You will lead project management from estimating through closeout, coordinating multiple disciplines, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Travel to Southeast client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Estimator/Sr. Project Manager experience in W/WW underground utility construction.
• Ability to manage projects from estimating to closeout, including bidding, procurement, controls, and closeout.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to present complex information to all levels.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings in the Southeast; occasional overnight stays.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management of projects from estimating to construction closeout including bidding and budgeting.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control costs.
• Coordinate activities of multiple disciplines on projects of moderate scope.
• Relate to daily activities and progress of construction crews; ensure open communication with stakeholders.
• Report progress, costs, schedule metrics, and issues requiring office support.
• Document control and coordination between field, office, and municipalities.
