Carrier Johnson + Culture (CJ+C) seeks a Senior Project Manager / Architect with extensive multifamily residential and mixed-use experience to lead complex developments from planning through construction while mentoring teams and driving growth of our residential practice.

Qualifications

• Registered/Licensed Architect with California licensure preferred.
• 12+ years of professional experience in multifamily residential and mixed-use developments.
• Experience delivering high-density podium, wrap, urban infill, mixed-use, affordable housing, and market-rate multifamily projects in California.
• Experience partnering with developers, investors, ownership groups, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of California residential building types, planning, permitting, and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across all phases: feasibility, entitlement, schematic design, design development, construction docs, permits, A/E coordination, closeout.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, consultants, and financial performance.
• Primary client contact, building long-term relationships with developers, ownership groups, and institutional investors.
• Collaborate with Design Leaders to deliver integrated residential communities balancing design and constructability.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
