Carrier Johnson + Culture (CJ+C) seeks a Project Architect to lead the technical development and coordination of multifamily residential and mixed-use projects from design through construction in California. You will translate design intent into coordinated, constructible solutions while maintaining quality throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect with California licensure is preferred.
• 8+ years of professional architectural experience delivering multifamily and mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, coordination with consultants, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day architectural development and technical coordination of multifamily residential and mixed-use projects across multiple phases.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents that are clear, accurate, and aligned with design intent.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, interiors, life-safety, and specialty consultants.
• Coordinate permitting, plan-check responses, and QA/QC reviews with project leadership.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain alignment between design and execution.
